September was a busy month as schools got back to the business of the classroom and ed-tech providers released a number of new solutions to support teaching and learning efforts.

Web site aims to help teens find career paths. Middle- and high-school students now have a new way to explore potential careers. Myverse.com is an online and mobile resource that uses a psychometric color test to match students with up to five careers. The site also includes videos of each career as well as information about colleges and areas of study.

French language series includes virtual blackboard lessons. Breaking the Barrier has released its latest digital books for students learning French. The 2015 Breaking the French Barrier series features virtual blackboard lessons for each chapter to underscore key grammatical concepts. Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 are available for download from Apple’s iTunes store.
