On the EduTalk Radio Show on October 10, 2017, Dr. Marina Umaschi Bers discusses the importance of coding in early education.

Dr. Bers is a professor at the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development at Tufts University. She heads the interdisciplinary Developmental Technologies research group. Her research involves the design and study of innovative learning technologies to promote children’s positive development. She is the creator of the free ScartchJr programming app and the KIBO robotics. She is also co-founder and chief scientist at KinderLabRobotics.
