The following products are the winners of Tech & Learning’s annual ISTE Best of Show Awards. Products were submitted and anonymously evaluated by Tech & Learning advisors. The judges rated their impressions on a sliding scale, then met to decide on which technologies could have the most impact in the classroom and deserved to be named Best of Show. Lightspeed Technologies unveiled three new features of its Flexcat classroom audio system: expanded coverage, Whisper Coaching, and a new iOS app. Flexcat consists of a wearable microphone for the teacher, a speaker for whole-group instruction, and a set of two-way audio pods that allow teachers to listen and speak to small groups from anywhere in the classroom.
