Reading Horizons has updated its platform, Reading Horizons Discovery. The new version features a check-up system to monitor progress, an assessment tool and an iPad app. A free 14-day trial is available through the company’s website.
ClassFlow expands platform with free lessons, resources for students, teachers
Promethean has expanded its ClassFlow platform with several free features and resources for students and teachers. The tool now offers new interactive lessons through its ClassFlow Marketplace, accounts for students and teachers, collaborative lesson building and ClassFlow Desktop, the native app for Windows and Mac OS.
Software tool lets teachers use video to improve instructional practice
ADVANCEfeedback is a Web-based tool designed to help teachers improve their instruction. The platform lets teachers upload video to the cloud then share that video with coaches and peers for feedback. The tool is accessible from any Web-enabled device.
